Desert Flowers with colors of creams and gold and the bright blue of the deserts sky. The center focal is a stunning Fossil Coral with clear flower shaped fossils. The coral has been hand coiled then set in a lace wire bezel. I have surrounded the coral with hand coiled filigree swirls, antique gold freshwater pearls, desert sky blue, glass seed beads, and of course this would not be complete with out a desert lizard. The necklace is made with hand made interlocking links of antique gold pearls. I have added a pair of genuine faceted Citrine , set between blue seed beads and gold disc beads. The pearl links are a continuous 18 inches, and end with a hand made swarovski crystal studded hook clasp. The Desert flower pendant measures 2 inches long x1 1/2 inches wide. This antique gold brass Faerie is entwined in Delicate wire coiled vines of genuine Peridot and genuine Garnet smooth briolette drops... The pendant measures 1 3/4 inch long x1/2 inch wide, with gems quality 3mm round Peridot and 6 x 4 gorgeous gem quality Rhodolite Garnets. The 18 necklace is a perfect match to the faerie and closes with a hand made hook clasp. Although this has a delicate and feminine look , I have created a very sturdy pendant. Garnet has been dubbed the gem of faith, constancy and truth. The rhodolite was widely used in Greece during the period between the reign of Alexander the Great and the conquest of Rome. Alexander had just popularized the cutting of cameos from precious stones, and this gem lent itself well to the task. Engravers gave these cameos a flat base and a convex top in which they etched their designs. This was the forerunner of the popular cabochon (dome-shaped) cut still popular today.

Hand wrapped vine with Dragonfly, pink pearls and pink cz briolettes.I have completely wrapped and shaped 20 gauge wire , with delicate 28 gauge wire to create the vine. Upon the vine is soft pink 5mm freshwater pearls with pudgy 8x6mm pink cz briolettes. The center dangle is an antique gold dragonfly with matching pearl and pink cz. The center vine measures 2 inches across. The dragonfly dangle is 1 1/2 inches long. The necklace measures 18 inches long and can be shortened on request. The pendant is hung from the center of a hand coiled heart that has a matching 4mm swarovski crystal . The necklace is completed with matching 14 x 12mm red glass faceted cabochon,in a matching lace wired setting. The necklace measures 16inches with a 4 inch extension chain. The center drop measures 2 1/2 inches long from the wire coiled heart. This is a 32mm vintage , faceted, red glass cabochon that I redesigned from an antique brooch. The Celts believed that dragons were creatures of the parallel world and their power and presence would affect the ley of the land.
